STONEHOUSE POND

This award-winning recreation pond was built for a young family who wanted to enhance their environment with a feature that would not only increase aesthetic appeal, but also enjoyment for their growing children and family dogs. It features a main pond with intake bay, an upper pond where people can sit by the waterfalls, and a wetland filtration system.

The upper pond flows into the main pond under an 11' long stone bridge. The main pond is 5' deep and holds koi and shubunkin fish, which help maintain the ecosystem and provide aesthetic recreational value. Gardens with trees, shrubs, perennials, and native plants were installed to compliment the existing meadow gardens.
