MOBY'S HOME

The brief for this project was to dismantle an existing pond and build an entirely new ecosystem pond. We designed a feature with intake bay and wetland filtration that could accommodate a high fish load. The pond was also relocated to an entirely different area of the landscape to primarily avoid stormwater run-off from the roof and ensure clean, high quality water for the client's pet fish and also to facilitate interaction with the feature.

The pond was positioned adjacent an existing patio and fire pit, with waterfalls flowing towards the house so that they can be viewed and enjoyed from both the interior and exterior areas of the home.
